Dome of the rockIn 1948 , during the British occupation of Palestine, Zionist leaders and their followers, as a result of their decision regarding a home land, announced  a Jewish state in Palestine. Forming an impressive force well armed, backed with tanks and fighter planes, some stolen and some willingly given to them by Britain, the Zionists attacked areas populated and guarded by unsuspecting and poorly armed local villagers, and with little resistance won the war, placing a large area of land under their control, and forcing a huge number of people to leave their homes and seek refuge elsewhere.

Soon after, the Zionists occupiers announced the establishment of the state of Israel, and Palestine was no longer Palestine. Israel is the name now, and with the world acknowledging the new state, Palestine was hence divided and partitioned, the people uprooted from their homes and lands, villages destroyed and replaced by Jewish settlements, and to this day, the world is still watching.

In 1967, a counter attack which lasted 6 days, known as "The six day war" launched by various Arab countries to reclaim what they've lost, failed and with grave consequences; the rest of Palestine fell under Israeli occupation which caused more loss of life and more REFUGEES.
