The Phalangists, with the Israeli army's permission, led at the time by the Defense Minister, murderer, executioner, ex Israeli prime minister, current Likud party leader (at the time of writing), Ariel Sharon, who may be a prime minister again by the time you read this. Take a hard look at the image to the right, this is the man who was found directly responsible for the Sabra and Shatilla massacres by the Israeli fact finding Kahan commission. He is the elected leader of the Israeli collective. Is it a mutual policy? It is not necessary to look at those pictures to know what happened, as history, media and eye witnesses speak for the horrific events which took place there. Just take a look at some of these reports told by reporters and UN staff who were the first to enter the camps soon after the massacres.
