To the right is the currency that was in use as a medium of exchange in historic Palestine in 1927.
The text on this currency is written in Arabic (the official main tongue), English (influence of the British mandate) and Hebrew for the Jewish minority living in Palestine at the time.
Today, due to the influence of the Israeli occupation, this currency is all but disappeared; the Jordanian Dinar, the Israeli Shekel and the US dollar is what commonly in use among all Palestinians.
